OUR CLASSROOMS
Rising Tide Preschool provides a nurturing, play-based environment designed to meet the needs of children between the ages of 24 months and 6 years old. Our program supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through hands-on learning experiences, creative play, and meaningful daily interactions.
We enroll children on a rolling basis throughout the year when space is available. Upon enrollment, children are placed in a classroom based on both age and developmental level to ensure they are supported in an environment that best meets their individual needs. Developmental levels are assessed through the Developmental History completed during the enrollment process, teacher observations, and ongoing communication and conferences with parents and guardians.
At Rising Tide Preschool, we recognize that every child develops at their own pace and learns in different ways. Our classrooms are designed to encourage confidence, independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning while providing consistent routines and opportunities for exploration and growth.
Children typically transition to the next classroom level each September as a whole group, helping to create a smooth and supportive progression through our program alongside their peers.
MINNOWS
Our Minnow Classroom serves children ages 24 months–3 and gently introduces them to a school setting through play, daily routines, and hands-on learning experiences. In a nurturing and supportive environment, children begin building independence, confidence, social skills, and a love of learning through exploration and creative play.
DOLPHINS
Our Dolphin Classroom serves children ages 3–4 and encourages creativity, curiosity, and confidence through engaging, play-based learning experiences. In a nurturing and supportive environment, children strengthen social-emotional skills, early literacy, problem-solving, and independence through hands-on exploration and imaginative play.
