HOURS & PROGRAM INFORMATION
Rising Tide Preschool provides a warm, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive through play-based experiences and meaningful relationships. We serve children ages 24 months to 5 years old and proudly offer the longest preschool hours on Nantucket, with care available Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM.
Our classrooms follow a play-based curriculum that encourages hands-on learning, creativity, independence, and social-emotional development. Children are given opportunities to explore, discover, and learn at their own pace in a nurturing and supportive environment.
DAILY SCHEDULE & LEARNING
Each day includes a balanced routine designed to support children’s natural curiosity and development. Our schedule includes free play, circle time, small group learning, outdoor play, story time, music and movement, meals, rest time, and enrichment activities.
Through consistent routines and engaging experiences, children build confidence, independence, early academic skills, and meaningful relationships with both peers and teachers.
TUITION ASSISTANCE
Rising Tide Preschool is committed to making high-quality early childhood education accessible to all island families. Through our Tuition Assistance Program, we strive to help reduce the financial burden of childcare and ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing preschool environment.
Tuition assistance is available to both current and prospective Rising Tide Preschool families. We believe that access to quality early childhood education plays an important role in supporting children’s long-term success and helping build a strong and inclusive community.
As a nonprofit preschool, Rising Tide Preschool is dedicated to investing in Nantucket’s youngest residents and supporting families from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Our goal is to create a diverse, welcoming, and supportive environment where all children feel valued, included, and empowered to succeed.

ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Families interested in enrolling at Rising Tide Preschool should begin by completing our waitlist form, which can be submitted via email or dropped off in person during operating hours.
Once we receive your form, you will receive a confirmation email and we will follow up to schedule a tour and informational meeting to learn more about your child and answer any questions about our program.
We currently have a waitlist to join Rising Tide. Please click below to fill out a waitlist application. The waitlist can either be emailed or be dropped off during bussiness hours.
