OUR CLASSROOMS
Rising Tide Preschool provides an environment which meets the needs of children between the ages of 24 months and 6 years old. We enroll children in the school on a rolling basis when space is available. Upon enrollment, children are assigned to a classroom based on age and developmental level. We assess children’s developmental levels based on a Developmental History that you complete during the enrollment process, observations teachers make of the children and conversations with parents/guardians at conferences. Children are moved to the next classroom every September as a whole group.
MINNOWS
Our Minnow Classroom serves children ages 24 months–3 and gently introduces them to a school setting through play, daily routines, and hands-on learning experiences. In a nurturing and supportive environment, children begin building independence, confidence, social skills, and a love of learning through exploration and creative play.
DOLPHINS
Our Dolphin Classroom serves children ages 3–4 and encourages creativity, curiosity, and confidence through engaging, play-based learning experiences. In a nurturing and supportive environment, children strengthen social-emotional skills, early literacy, problem-solving, and independence through hands-on exploration and imaginative play.
STARFISH
Our Starfish Pre-K classroom serves children ages 4–5 and prepares them for kindergarten through hands-on learning, creativity, and meaningful play. In a nurturing and engaging environment, children continue building confidence, independence, social-emotional skills, and strong early literacy and math foundations.
